I received the Frownies Bag courtesy of Frownies and Beautystat.com to try out and review.  While I do like skin care products, this particular product bag contained products that I would not normally try out or purchase on my own - so it was pretty interesting to get them.

The bag contained:
  • Frownies Under Eye and Eyelid Gels
  • Frownies Forehead & Between Eyes Patches
  • Frownies Immune Shield Vitamine E Eye Serum
  • Frownies Rose Water Hydrator Spray
After receiving the products - I could not immediately try them out (I had received them about a month and a half ago) because of a prior reaction to another product.  But, I started on them as soon as I had the opportunity.

I must start by saying that the cute little bag they set came in was pretty nice - it allowed me to keep all of my little things in its own area without fear of losing them.  I used the under eye and eyelid gels first  after cleansing my face like normal.  It was an interesting concept for me and the soft but cool gel texture really made my skin feel revived.  The gels are all natural patches of cactus collagen, aloe and other natural vitamins derived form plant sources that help and serve to increase circulation.  You are supposed to do a 30 minute treatment with Frownies patches and it will help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, under eye bags, dark circles and improve skin tone and texture. The cool thing is that you can reuse them on the same individual.

My Opinion on the Patches:  They are surely unique and offer a great cooling sensation when applied. I did notice that my under eye area did have a slight reduction in under eye circles but I really could not affirm that it removed my under eye bags (which would be difficult to truly test with just a sample, seeing as I really lack sleep most of the time).  My fine lines and wrinkles haven't necessarily diminished, while I don't think mine are that bad and my skin tone and texture seemed to remain the same.  While I cannot say that I should notice significant results in just a few weeks, I am pretty pleased in these more or less because they really did give me a calming sensation that I truly enjoyed - whether that was the intention or not.  One downfall - I don't like that they need to be refrigerated.  It just seems like such a hassle to go back and forth.  Removing them from their your eye area and spritzing them with Rose water and then placing them in their little holder is not the issue - but walking to the kitchen to put it back in the fridge can be a pain in the butt.  Retail value of the patches (6 total): $37.50  Considering that they can be used several times and many creams out there cost more than this for about a 30 day supply - I would probably purchase it and continue using them.

The next product I want to talk about is the Frownies Rose Water Hydrator Spray - this is specifically used to keep your eye gels moist and bacteria free, as well as a refreshing pick me up to spray on the face. It contains many of the same ingredients that are in the eye patches and it will help to preserve the life of the patches for repeated use.  The bottle retails for $10.95 (59ml spray bottle) which is really good in my opinion considering rose water sprays can cost that much for a very tiny bottle.  I especially liked this one the best. It doesn't have any unusual smell than what you would expect from rose water and I may definitely use this to replace using my MAC's Fix Plus... it felt nice on my skin and very cooling and refreshed.

Next would be the Frownies Immune Shield.  It is a 40% whole Vitamin E with the polypeptides and 17 amino acids to build skin health and resistence to UV damage.  I applied it to the under eye area and on the eye lid and let it sit for about 10 seconds before applying my makeup.  My opinion on this product is not very positive and I'll explain why:  The first time I used this product (and every time thereafter) - because of my oily combination skin, I think it moved around on my skin more than it should have.  while I waited for my 10 seconds to past so that I could apply my makeup - my eyes consistently burned... almost to an irritation and my eyes watered consistently.  Then - when I applied my makeup on my eyes and face, my eyelids creased horribly - even after using my most expensive Eye shadow primer (Too Faced Shadow Insurance).  I couldn't figure out what cause the creasing until I had decided not to use the product one day and it didn't crease - after using the same products as I had before.   With the amount of vitamins listed in this product - it should be one of the best for my eyes, but it was so difficult for me to use without pain or irritation. This retails for $59 for a 60ml bottle.

last but not least would be the Frownies Forehead & Between Eyes Patches.  To use these, you would wet the patch with rose water hydrator spray, separate the lines and apply over the lined area.  Hold on the area for 10 seconds until it adheres and leave on at least 3 hours.  I put these on over night since it has to be on for such a long time.  While I didn't really notice much of a change in my expression lines, I will say that it seems like I am seeing some of my lines lightening up a bit.  At $19.95 for 144 Forehead & Between Eyes Patches - I would most likely purchase this product again - and give it a longer trial period to gauge its results.

All in all - if I had to choose just one product I would buy again - it would be the rose water hydrator spray.  It is something I know I would use consistently and the price is well worth it.  The second product I know I would love to keep using would be the under eye and eyelid gels.  The most expensive product, the Immune Shield - didn't seem to have any noticable affects on me and at that price tag - probably not something I would continue using considering all the trouble I received from it.

Either way - the whole set was definitely a touch and go with me. While some things worked - others did not.  I am my own person and understand completely that some people may have experienced better results or lack thereof, but those are mine.  To see for yourself what Frownies has to offer, you can visit their website at: frownies.com They have an array of products to help with your skin care routine and regimen.  You can also visit beautystat.com for  other reviews on this product.

Yesterday (Tuesday), I started the Body by Vi nutritional shakes.  They were sent to me by a friend so that I could do a review on them.  She gave me 7 days worth of powder mix for 2 meals per day.  It does not seem like much - but one week's worth will still give me the opportunity to feel if my body can easily adjust to it or if within that time frame, I had any results. I weighed and measured myself prior to my first shake yesterday - here are the stats:

Starting Weight: 252.6 lbs

Measurements
Waist: 40 inches
Hips: 53 1/2 inches
Bust: 45 1/2 inches
Neck: 14 inches

Yesterday I drank my first shake (breakfast) with skim milk - 12 oz to be exact.  I was seriously amazed at how delicious it tasted.  Even if I had used just milk - I could easily consume it and it had a great flavor without any after taste.  While I expected it to have a powdery consistency like most nutritional or meal replacement shakes - I have yet to experience that.

I had a plain shake for lunch as well and then dinner as usual.  When I ended my day yesterday - I felt like I was hungry - but after thinking about it for a minute, I realized it was the thought of not eating that got to me... my stomach was reasonably full.

Today - I had a late start and forgot about my breakfast shake. Hey - it happens. ;) So I had my shake for lunch - again, just a regular shake and drank it up. It is now dinner and I am getting ready to have my meal.  There are a few things I've noticed the last 2 days that I think may be the cause of the shakes.  While they are not bad things - it has definitely made a change in my digestive system.  I'll be sure to post again through out the week and do a follow up.  I had filmed my first day but never got around to editing the video #FAIL. lol

I haven't had the opportunity to stop and blog about this subject - so since I have a brief moment, I figure I stop on in and share with you.  A few months ago Tracy DiMarco sported some of I-Candy Couture's Jewelry in photos which I shared via Facebook, Twitter and our ICC site.  It was such an awesome privilege to have one of my favorite Reality TV stars wearing my jewelry that I work so hard on.  This past week, I was catching up on the week prior Jerseylicious Show on the net (I can't get Style Network on my Cable anymore) and was watching the Episode: Olivia's Betrayal, when I spotted Tracy using my patent pending twisted woven hoops, made especially for her on the episode.  Needless to say - I let out a huge scream and am so excited and happy and feel so privileged that she loved my jewelry so much that she used it on t.v.  Seriously - I'm still giddy and smiling about it.  How cool is that?
Tracy using the Resin Hello Kitty Bow Ring and Resin Heart Necklace with Candy Sprinkles and colored with I-Candy Couture Pigment in Cupid - made especially for her.
Tracy out with her boyfriend Corey, using her Tray D inspired Twisted Woven Hoops that she wore on the show.

Ingredients:
  • Arborio Rice (2 Cups will yield enough to feed 5-6 people) - I used two cups of the Hinode Pre-Seasoned Rice. You are welcomed to use your own choice of Arborio Rice and add your own flavorings.  Some suggestions or things I have used in the past:  Onions, Sundried Tomatoes, Oregano, Italian Seasoning, Mushrooms, Parsley
  • Chicken Broth (for each 1 cup of arborio rice, you will need approximately 3-4 cups of chicken broth, I used 5 cups total)
  • Chicken Thighs or Breasts - Boneless, Skinless (approximately 1.5 to 2 lbs) - Chop to bite size pieces.
  • Garlic - Crushed or Minced (I used Jar garlic - fresh works well too)
  • EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) this was used to cook the chicken. You will need approximately 1/3 of a cup.
  • Garlic Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Asparagus - depending on the amount of people - 4 spears per person
  • Truffle Shavings - to taste
  • Truffle Oil - to taste

It's been a little over a week since I last blogged about this subject and maybe a month since my last video.  Things have been super busy on my end and it has been near to impossible to remember to weight my self.  Needless to say - I'm at 252.6 lbs.  I did gain a pound or two since my last weigh in.  While I cannot in any way justify my actions for gaining my weight - I can say that the last 2 weeks have been near to impossible to find time to eat a sensible meal or eat anything for that matter.  I've been running around with errands and mommy responsibilities that I have been trying hard to grab food on the go - but it has been near to impossible.  I know that because of my lack of eating - I have been slacking and therefore gaining a few pounds.

While I did gain a little weight - I'm not completely discouraged.  I have just started my not so friendly monthly friend which will and has definitely added to water retention - but I think once I get over this hump, I will be okay.  My eldest starts summer vacay in about 4 days - so that will really give me some time to plan things out accordingly and ensure that I get sensible meals in my tummy.

Also - I was sent a weeks worth of Body by Vi to try out and do a review.  While I probably will not notice any significant weight loss or changes for the week, I will still be able to gauge how it will work and can then determine if I should consider it as a part of my diet and exercise program.  I've been asked several times by Family and Friends who have experienced awesome results from this program to try it out but didn't really want to spend the money.  We'll see how this works.

In the meantime, I'll be back in a week to update on the progress - I'm starting the shakes tomorrow :)

The I-Candy Beauties and Hunnies got together and decided to do a collaboration look.  We decided to go with a Neutral Eye look with a pop of color.  The girls all put their little twist on their looks.  Here is my interpretation of it.  My signature look is pretty much a neutral eye look with a pop of teal or purple.  Those that know me know I like to rock this if I can't think of what kind of makeup to use for the day but want to bump up a look.
Products Used:
I-Candy Couture's Chocolate Kisses Quad, I-Candy Fix Eye Primer,
Lollipop Lipstick, Purr & Floating Lights Mineral Eye shadows.  Also used - Milani's Liquif'eye Pencil Liner in Aqua,
Brow Tint Pen for my brows and Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Blackest Black.

I have been doing the Castor Oil challenge for about 2 weeks now and have decided I am going to take a week break to gauge the problems with my hair that have occurred after starting last week Monday.  Over the last week, I have noticed some dryness on my scalp and it also felt a little itchy.  After checking my scalp last night - I found that I have started to have dandruff.  This is really unusual for me... because I am not a dandruff prone person.  I haven't truly changed up my hair routine at all over the last 2-4 weeks, so I don't understand the problem that has happened.  My only conclusion is that it may be that the castor oil is working its magic and removing the dead cells on my scalp.  However, the problem is that I don't like dandruff and it's driving me nuts.  I'm going to stop for a couple a days - maybe a week and re-evaluate the situation.  Stay tuned.

Well, I have completed my first week using Castor Oil on my hair.  While it was a bit of a challenge and some what difficult the first day to get used to the sticky consistency of the product, I have made it through the first week and so far so good.

Here are a few things I noticed:

  • The hair nearest to my scalp, my roots, have really been feeling a lot softer lately.  This is the hair that gets touched by the Castor Oil majority of the time - so I believe it is truly working.
  • My scalp has gotten a little dryer. The first day - it was moisturized and nice, but the 2nd and 3rd applications left my scalp dry and with some dandruff thereafter.  I'm not sure if it's because it is removing the dead cells on my scalp - but if this keeps up, I will have to stop using the Castor Oil - I don't like a dry and itchy scalp.
  • I haven't noticed any growth yet or added thickness to my hair.  Whether it may be the Castor Oil or just the heat that has been coming due to summer on its way, my hair has been shedding a lot more than usual the last week, which has been leading to tangles - but I work it out.
That's it for this weeks recap.  I did not measure the length of my hair yet and will do so today or tomorrow to see if there has been any change. :)

Now, as a brown eyed girl - this post is pretty important to me.  While I believe that Makeup is a form of self expression and artistry - many people believe that there really is no rules to makeup application.  Though that may be true, there are some guidelines that do have a purpose.  Most people using makeup everyday are not applying Smokey Eyes or dramatic and bright pinks, purples and blues - so a great guideline for application and what colors work best will definitely be an asset worth looking into.
Now - someone with brown eyes will tell you that they are boring and plain... but I beg to differ.  Brown eyed gals are probably the most luckiest when it comes to eye makeup because as a brown eyed girlie, you have the most options available to you with regard to colors.  Since most brown eyed girls naturally have a darker pigment to your eye color, there truly are few colors that will clash with it.  Many varieties of colors and shades combined or used on its own will bring out the colors of your peepers.

Gray, plum, brown, blue, gold, vanilla and many shades of violets work really well with Brown eyes and bring out the sparkles.  Gold, brown, pink and bronze will bring out the light brown shade that some of our eyes may have - though it may not be the forefront of what we see in the mirror.  Those particular shades will bring out the brightness in your eyes.

I-Candy Couture's Sincerely, Gingerbread, Maui, 3 Wishes, Breaking Dawn and Peaches & Creme are great selections for Brown Eyes.  While most colors that can be found in the ICC Shadow collections could easily be pulled off for a Brown eyed gal - my favorite of choice would be Roselani.  It is a dusty rose pink and can be brightened with white base or toned down with a natural skin toned base.  If you don't have any ICC shadows - Wet n Wild and NYX offers a huge variety of palettes to fit your needs.
When applying makeup to use through the day - soft hues and lighter neutrals work really nicely with brown eyes. Soft Pinks and are also a great selection.  If you are doing your makeup for the evening - don't be afraid to bump it up with bold and dark colors.  Smokey eye looks with browns and black work extremely well with Brown eyes - but any color combination with black for a smokey look will certainly stop traffic.

My favorite thing about having brown eyes is that I can easily pull off lighter eye shadow colors like light pinks, peach, taupe or even champagne and peach colors.  These particular colors (as mentioned above) will bring out the brightness in your eyes and help to capture the light easily.  There are some eye colors that cannot pull off light colors without washing out the pigment in their eyes.  Darker colors are great for giving your eyes that sultry, smokey look like gray, charcoal and black.
Of course - to finish off and polish a look, add your favorite eye liner to any look and 2 coats of a dark mascara, preferably black.  A pretty pout and some blush if you would like and you are run way ready. :)

Hope you liked this week's tip. :)

I have recently had the opportunity to rent "The Help" on DVD via Redbox the other day.  My little sister has been telling me for a few months now that I really need to watch it.  Let me start by saying that movies like this always put a spark under my butt and get my gears turning.  It is an emotional movie drama filled with a few tidbits of funny but definitely something I think should be a part of any DVD / Movie Collection.
It's stars Emma Stone, known for her role in Easy A.  She is an aspiring author who right in the middle of the civil rights movement in the 1960s decides that she wants to write a book that details the African American maids' point of view on the white families that they work for, the hardships they may go through and the ups and downs of their daily lives.

I think this particular movie hits home for me because I try so hard to teach my children that you treat everyone equally regardless of the color of their skin, their ethnicity or their social standing.  Having been a child of the 80's - most of the segregation through out the US had no longer been in effect - though some small towns and states may have still practiced Racism.  I am pretty lucky that in the most part, I live in a State where there are so many nationalities - it usually was not an issue.  Though I'm not saying that I have never experienced it, it was not nearly as bad.

All in all - I would recommend this movie to anyone.  It does have a little funny sarcasm in it from time to time but it is truly just a way of teaching each other to get along regardless of the color of our skin or what society tells us.  We are our own mind.

My Rating:  5 Stars

Now - if you know anything about me... it's that I have a whole lot of hair. lol I enjoy the expensive things in life like most people and that definitely includes hair care products.  But, let's face it - the cost of life adds up and there comes a point in time when buying the expensive stuff (whether they are your favorites or not) just don't seem important any longer.  As a mother - while I enjoy the finer things in life, I know that my children, their well being and that new pair of shoes they have been needing is more important than an expensive brand of leave-in conditioner.  And... my daddy didn't raise any fool. lol
It is amazing what a bottle of Suave Professionals Conditioner, some tap water and a dollar spray bottle can do for you.  Not only do your pockets save some dough... but you also have a great alternative to any of the expensive stuff.  If you still like your expensive stuff - don't worry... it will still be great... add a little of it in your leave-in conditioner mix and you can stretch that expensive stuff out a little longer than you would normally.  Check out my video below to learn a little and get the full DIY.

Let me start off by saying that as a busy mother - anything that I can make that allows me to be free and not spend hours in the kitchen is a plus for me. ;) I got this recipe off of one of my Favorite Recipe Sites and just had to share it with all of you.

Banana Cream Pie... in a bowl, anyone?
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1  cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
  • 1/4  cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2  cup firm butter or margarine
  • 1/2  cup peanuts
  • 1  box (4-serving size) banana instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • 2  cups cold milk
  • 3  ripe medium bananas, sliced
  • 1  container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Warning from Honey:  This recipe includes nuts - if you are allergic - just leave them out. :)

STEP 1 -
Heat oven to 400°F. In medium bowl, mix flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter, using pastry blender, until mixture is crumbly. Stir in peanuts. Press evenly on bottom of ungreased 9-inch square pan. Bake about 15 minutes or until light brown. Stir to break up. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

STEP 2 -
In large bowl, make pudding mix as directed on box, using 2 cups milk. In 2-quart serving bowl, layer half of the crumb mixture, pudding, bananas and whipped topping; repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Top with additional peanuts if desired. Store in refrigerator.

Note from Honey:
While there are a few steps you need to take before getting this awesome dessert in your tummy - I think that it is definitely worth it.  Banana cream pie is one of those desserts where you know you want it... but you are particular with who makes it.  I don't know about you - but when I eat someone's banana cream pie - I know whether I will ever eat it again just by the first bite.  This way - it is easy but allows me to have a little more room to experiment and make it to my taste.  If you do use this recipe - let me know, I would love to know how it came out.

So - I know that I haven't posted much the last few days.  The truth is, I-Candy Couture has been so busy.  We are averaging 400 pigments ordered (samples & full sizes) in about a 14 day time frame when it comes to sales, so I have been super duper busy.  And, if you keep up with me on Facebook - you would have seen my most recent post where I started a new YouTube channel - Honeygirlsworld.  This new channel will allow me to really restructure my videos and organize them a bit more.  Not to mention, I truly was over the whole destne146 and signed up for that channel originally to just watch youtube videos.  So - I have been working on uploading some of my older tutorials and a few other fun things to my new channel as well as really getting back into Vloggin' again.

So - if you haven't already, head on over to my new YouTube Channel and Subscribe!  Come on now, what are you waiting for? lol

Have a wonderful weekend - I'll be back to blog about a few other things through the weekend.

Each day... the life of a YouTube Vlogger or Blogger gets more and more challenging.  As if talking about our own experiences weren't enough of a challenge - we have to deal with the people that just live each day to tear us down.  We don't make millions off of YouTube or our Blogs or our Ads... most of us don't even do it for the money and many of us dish out our own money just to give back.

It has come to my attention that the Bullying and so much more is at an all time high.  From click bombing to videos that bash and provide hurtful comments... they are all a form of cyber bullying.  Having been on YouTube and Blogging for 4+ years - I have seen my fair share of ignorant trolls that stop by my pages and I have, for the most part, ignored them.  But - I know that it is hurtful, as does any of us and it is truly difficult to just forget about it.  I would be inhuman if I had said it didn't affect or bother me in anyway.  Some of the things we have been having to deal with is a thing called Click Bombing.  Basically - click bombing is when someone intentionally click on our ads on our videos or blogs in hopes to disable your adsense and taking away some of the things that some of us work so hard to obtain... Partnership with YouTube or just even just an additional source of income.

A website that I have been featured on a few months ago called Urnotave.com started a Petition called: Project Save Adsense.  It may seem like nothing to many people but to those of us that actually put our heart and soul into what we do - it is very very important to us.  This petition was developed in hopes to have adsense take a look at what is really happening.  By not taking the time to investigate what is happening they are basically saying that Cyber Bullying is okay.

Let's all take a stand - Sign the Petition and  make it known that you don't think that it is right.  I'll touch base more on this subject in future posts.  I will end here for now.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
xoxo,
Honey

I'm down 1 lb from last week.... woohoo!

There hasn't been much of a noticeable change in my body - but I did want to document that I am down one pound and now weight 249.6.  Though it may not seem like it is much of an accomplishment... at least I am not gaining anything.

Food hasn't really changed up much this week.  I have been cheating with some Soda here and there and haven't had any time to myself to actually get some exercise in - even if it is just to jump or dance around the house.

Goals this week:
  • Get going on some exercising... pull out those Zumba DVD's
  • Really work on eating my 5 meals a day - that has been my biggest challenge.
  • More green tea - I have stopped drinking green tea as much as I have in the past... it has been a bit hard to fit it into my busy schedule.  Get with it woman. lol

So I figured I would stop in and update my stats when I started the challenge.  I've included a photo which shows my starting length.  My hubby helped me measure... from my shoulders to the tip of my hair - it was 13 inches long. I will continue to measure each week as I'm going through the process.
My first impressions of the castor oil...
I'm using the regular ol' Pharmaceutical Castor Oil that you can find at your local drug store and/or pharmacy.  I had thought about it over the last few days and decided to use this one because that would really allow me to test if it is truly just Castor Oil that does the trick or if I would need some special miracle (expensive) product to get any results.  We will see as time progresses.  The Castor Oil I'm using is odorless which really does help with application as well as leaving it on my hair overnight.  I applied the castor oil using my fingers and applied and rubbed it into my scalp and roots of my hair.  Let me start off by saying that castor oil may be a little oily - but it also has a sticky texture... so it was a little difficult to work it into my hair.  After getting it worked in - I put my hair up into a high pony tail and left it as is.  I went to bed shortly after.

When I woke up this morning... let's just say that my hair was not what I had expected.  My neckline and hair line had slight oiliness to them - so I may not be able to do this process every day, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. For the most part - the castor oil soaked into my head pretty well.  My roots of my hair were actually pretty soft... not as oily as I had originally thought.  My major test will be to see if I break out from using this and leaving it on my hair overnight, but I'll update on that in the next week.  I'm crossing fingers that I don't break out because I have worked to hard to clear up my complexion the last few months.

All in all - for day one, I am pretty amazed.  Like I stated, my hair is pretty soft... I noticed it immediately when I woke up this morning.  If anyone is reading this - can you please advise me if I should be adding this to my entire hair - not just the roots or scalp.  I don't think that would be do-able... but I figure I would ask.

Alright then - day one, down! I am going to be doing this every other day for the first week I think... that way I can gauge if I will be breaking out at all.

Talk to you soon,
xoxo
Honey

I wanted to be sure to go ahead and write this down before I had forgotten about it. lol We all know I have selective amnesia. lol

Today, or shall I say... tonight, starts the first day of my Castor Oil  Challenge.  Basically what I am going to do is apply Castor Oil (nothing special - just the pharmaceutical kind) to my scalp a minimum of 3 times a week.  Research suggests that Castor Oil has properties that will allow your hair to strengthen as well as grow thicker.  You can read a little about the challenge here.  I will not be participating in the challenge that is listed on that blog but will be doing it on my own and tracking the progress.  Before I apply my first application tonight - I will have my hubby take a photo of the length of my hair and we will move forward from there.  Each week I will update the blog and state my findings for that week.  There have been several research studies that have shown a significant change over the course of 3 months of taking part in this challenge... so I am truly excited.

After the birth of my twins 2 1/2 years ago, my hair has been shedding tremendously.  Not to mention the fact that I do color and/or bleach my hair several times a year.  But, I thought this challenge would really be beneficial for me to at least try it out.  I do not normally do any heavy damage to my hair during the summer.  Most of my hot tools are used on my hair during the Winter months and I normally color or color treat my hair prior to the summer heat arriving... so this will give my hair some time to truly rejuvenate and repair itself.

I'm excited to see how it all works.  I will be back tomorrow to post my starting length results as well as photos prior to my first application.

If you are interested in joining me on the challenge, comment below or check out my Facebook Page where I will go ahead and list results or link my blog posts as I progress.

Have a great week!

Hey hunnies... so it's Mini Giveaway time.  It's nothing big... but still something I think any of my awesome ladies could rock.  This giveaway will be taking place on my Facebook Page only - so be sure to head on over and take a look.  Here are the rules...

1.) Must be a liker of this FB Page Honeygirl's World.

2.) Comment on this note answering this question: "What items would you like to see me review?"

3.) For an extra point - you can also comment in another comment (do not comment in the same comment): "What nationalities do you think I am?"

The winner will receive the Nail Polish from Wet n Wild's Mega Last collection in the color Disturbia and the Liquid Lip Shine from NYC in the color 550A Cherrywood

That's it.  The giveaway will run from now 5/7/12 to sunday 5/13/12. I will ship internationally so long as I can send the nail polish in the mail.  Comment one time only.  The entries will be loaded into Classtools.net and the winner will be selected randomly that way.

Good luck to all!

This month's Julep Maven box was pretty cool.  Though I do mention in my video that I will be cancelling my Maven Membership soon... I am still pretty stoked at the goodies I got this month.

I received Julep's Magnetic Nail Polish which is a beautiful plum/purple with Silver Metallic called Kylie, a gorgeous Golden Yellow polish in Nessa, a beautiful orange in Ashley and a Sample packet of Julep's "The Best Pedi Creme Ever!"

As I use these products I'll be sure to do a review on them.  If you are interested in trying out the Julep Maven program - you should definitely check it out.  The are always offering some great specials for the first month and right now you can get a box for just a Penny.  You can cancel at any time and shipping is always free.  For just $19.99 a month - it is definitely worth it... especially since each polish is about $14.00 a piece.  You can check out what Julep has to offer by clicking on this link: http://julep.com/?r=14740439
I'll definitely keep you updated if I decide to cancel. I have built quite a collection of these gorgeous beauties... and though the company is awesome - some of their polishes are truly hit or miss with me.  So I am not sure if I want to continue with the membership. I'll surely keep you posted.  Check out the video below where I show you each color on camera. ;)
